Summer Institute
The IAS Summer Institute is a month-long school designed to conduct intensive study of innovative, pioneering topics. The format is similar to the IAS Advanced Schools, but held over a longer period of time. Organizers select five senior researchers, and up to 20 Ph.D. students or postdoctoral students, from Israel and abroad, to participate in the Summer Institute. Scholars from academic institutions around the world are invited to submit a proposal to the Academic Committee. All disciplines are welcome. Funds are available for travel, accommodations and registration. Subsidies are determined by the organizers of the Summer Institute in coordination with IAS staff.
