Conferences

Scholars from academic institutions around the world are invited to submit a proposal to the Academic Committee. The IAS conferences encourage a sharing and interchange of knowledge leading to mutual enrichment. Conferences are open to an academic audience. The duration of each conference is approximately from one to four days.

The topic and its relevance
• A description of the project up to two pages in length
• The anticipated outcome or impact of the conference
• A list of invited speakers from Israel and abroad, along with the contribution of each speaker and their CV
• An estimated budget which incorporates outside funding if applicable
• Recommendation and written, tentative consent of lecturers to join the conference
