Forty Years of Black Hole Thermodynamics

Sept. 3-7, 2012

Event date: January 1

2012 will mark forty years since the publication of Bekenstein's paper on black hole entropy. We would like to celebrate this occasion by organizing a workshop at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Jerusalem.

In the workshop we will discuss various ramifications of black hole thermodynamics in recent years and prospects for the future, from different perspectives.
